So, who am I?
Hi! My name is Ashley, a professionally certified book editor passionate about working one-on-one with indie and trad authors. I love what I do, and I aspire to share that passion through my work.
For as long as I can remember, I've had my nose buried between the pages of a book. I love literature for what it is, what it can be, and what it does, so when it came time to choose what I wanted to do for the rest of my life, editing was at the forefront.
I hold a graduate certificate in publishing, where I focused on a variety of editing specific classes while learning about the overall publishing process. Since graduating, I have had the privilege of working with various authors who have given me a deeper appreciation and respect for writing, both of which grow with each manuscript I work on.
Authors spend copious amounts of time writing a book—my sole goal while editing is to polish that book until it reflects all the hard work and love poured into completing it. As an editor, I can’t promise perfection—it's unrealistic. I do, however, promise that I will use every tool at my disposal to be as thorough as I can.
